Ever encounter people who just have to be better than everybody else? They just have to be better than everyone else and has to show it. If they fail to do so, they will not even bother wanting to be seen. At any given place and time they will always want something extra to stand out among the rest. They have to display some sort of superiority over the rest.
You know like how children always boast about how they are better than their peers. "My mom says I'm special!" Guess these people try hard to compensate for other things.
What makes it even 'better' is that they try hard to be noticed and seen, while putting on some sort of fake humility. They try to ooze their shit out while being as subtle as possible. 'No la, I'm not rich.' 'No la, I'm not that good.'
These people will only impress like minded people. People who know better would not even give a second thought about their 'superiority' or 'specialness'.
